Listen to what our customers are saying about our self-watering gardens and Swap a Bag service
We retrofitted Organic At Home’s self-watering gardening system to our existing raised beds and have had the best summer ever with loads of organic tomatoes, chillies, capsicum, beans, peas and not to mention all the herbs – sage, thyme, rosemary, oregano, chives, spring onions, mint and at least 6 types of lettuces. We only need to fill the reservoir once every two weeks during summer and were amazed at how lush the garden was when we came back from our holiday. We use the convenient and surprisingly cost effective “Swap a Bag” delivery service to purchase spray free produce still growing in certified organic potting mix. Most of the lettuce bags are lasting us at least a month and we seldom have to replace the herb bags, our family are having to eat lots of healthy salads just to keep up with all the yummy produce!

Jared Parkes has been supplying my fresh garden to me for almost a year now and I cannot wait till he can do my large garden when my renovation is complete .
I have been able to pick fresh produce consistently in a temporary garden Jared set up in attractive boxes. I have organic tomatoes, strawberries , chillies , kale , spinach , variety of lettuce and herbs . While I was away at Xmas everything stayed alive due to the watering system which feeds the plants from the bottom of the box .
This system is very economical and tasty and saves me from many trips to the supermarket and I don’t waste anything . It’s reassuring to know there are no nasty chemicals from the growing or washing prior to packaging . Jared is very reliable and cares very much about his business.

"Went to the beach in the weekend for the first time in 3 weeks - the lawn is brown and almost dead but look at our self-watering planter box by Organicathome.co.nz! Lots of lushness thanks Jared Parkes. Here's to fresh non-bolting lettuce and cherry tomatoes all summer."

I love my self- watering gardens. We had silverbeet, cauliflowers, kale, spinach and strawberries through the winter. I've now planted heaps of summer veges including lettuce , tomatoes, spring onion and herbs. The gardens are so "easy care". Brilliant for someone like me who travels a lot. I never have to worry that my plants will die.
